Down the garden staircase Erin was a vision as she graciously approached the man of her dreams wearing a Wedding gown Aphrodite would be envious of. The garden arch was adorned with draping moss and fresh cut white roses and flowers while a creative aisle design made of white rose petals created a unique path to the alter. The bride and groom along with their leading guys and gals were staged against a magical setting that day. Simple and clean designs in celadon, accented by lots of candlelight captured the elegance of this special occasion.
From the Bride
What was your inspiration for your wedding day/theme?
“Simple, easy, stress, free, open bar. It was a perfect day – I think jesse and I just wanted it to be about us, and so that we didn’t have to worry about a damn thing except have fun and party. We wanted it small, and we wanted it to be the best day of our lives – it was!”
What was your wedding day highlight?
“SO many things. Probably the funniest was after our dance (dean martin ain’t that a kick in the head) jesse is seriously in love with Usher’s Yeah. Remember that early 2001 hit? And it came on – what’s funny is that I’m a professional choreographer / dancer – and he always gives it a good whirl. But when “yeah” came on – he channeled usher – nobody got on the dance floor – and it was like a Jesse Solo – my jaw was dropped in disbelief and amazement.”
Any advice you would give to those planning their wedding?
“Don’t do anything you don’t want to do. It is your day! Invite only the people you want, keep your eyes on the prize. Nobody Is really going to remember your bouquet – don’t sweat the small crap. Remember that you are marrying your baby and laugh, smile, dance, drink (lord knows we both did) and keep it simple!”
A Great DIY Project for the Reception
Erin created her own centerpieces using three tiers of tall vases filled with candles, grass, flowers and stones.
