Here is a Beach-Themed wedding that I recently helped produce here at La Venta. I thought the colors they chose worked perfectly together to create an elegant look. The couple incorporated the theme into several aspects of their event starting with the invitations printed on sand colored paper with aqua writing:
A very subtle hint of the beach theme was put into the bride’s bouquet which had a small shell in the middle:
Their placecards were displayed in a beautifully presented sand box with each card on a separate shell – very cute!
The ballroom was adorned with white Chinese lanterns with an array of shells hanging from them like wind chimes:
Even the flower girl basket and ring bearer pillows were decorated with shells:
The colors they chose for their linens and centerpieces worked perfect with the beach theme. They did a tan khaki overlay with pastel pink napkins. One shell was placed on each of the napkins. The centerpieces were gorgeous. They were displayed in a wood box with a strip of birch wrapped around it and an aqua colored ribbon.
And here is the happy couple themselves! I just had to post this picture. I thought it turned out so cute!

Last week, the shops of North Manhattan Beach hosted the 4th annual Open House and Holiday Walk About. At Verandas, we featured free parking, coffee, cider, Dessert display and chocolate fountain. We also had a Santa Clause taking pictures with the Children and a photo station where people could pick up prints for free. Everyone had a great time and some guests even chose to make our location their destination for the evening. Our live DJ, Full Bar, and comfortable lounge seating provided a great setting for the locals to hang out. It was great to open our doors to the community and spend some time with our neighbors. Here are some photos from the event.
We would like to offer a special thanks to North Manhattan Beach for puting this event together as well as Vinis Party Rentals (310-527-6632) for contributing some beautiful rentals to help create the lounge atmosphere.

What a cute idea for table assignments! Kami and Telly love their college basketball, and came up with this very clever way to incorporate this into their wedding. Each table was named after a certain college, and for the placecards- each guest was given a ticket which had the name of the table which they were assigned.
To keep with the college basketball theme, Kami surprised Telly with a grooms cake in the shape of a basketball with the Cal State logo. The groom was quite impressed with this clever surprise by his bride. Photos by: John & Max Mills (310.645.5766) www.millsphotography.com
